NETHERWAR

There are two separate rulers of the Underworld: The Queen of Souls, who rules over the ghosts of everything that has ever lived, and The Bone King, who has supreme command over the corporeal remains of all that has ever died. Despite their differences, these two rulers can agree on one thing: eternal unlife can get dreadfully boring. So once every millennia or two, they assemble their armies and force their foot soldiers to annihilate each other for sport (and amusement).
